Well the 2018 season has now come to a close with Pirates taking on Avengers for the 2018 title.

Pirates took and early lead, up 2-1 after the first inning, Avengers tied it up in the bottom of the 3rd but Pirates hit back straight away with another 2 runs in the top of the 5th pushing it out ti a 4-2 lead.

Avengers then shifted into another gear taking back the lead with 3 runs in the bottom on the 5th to take the lead for the first time in the game heading into the 6th 5-4.

Avengers kept Pirates scoreless in the 6th before the offence exploded tacking on 4 in the 6th, 1 in the 7th and 2 in the 8th while keeping Pirates scoreless for the remainder of the game. Avengers ran out winners 12-4 however the score does not reflect how hard fought the game was.

Matthew Baldwin was awarded the MVP Medal after racking up 4 Hits, Pitching 9 innings with 12 Strikeouts for the game.

In the B-Grade Grand Final earlier in the day, The Under 18 Stealers ran out 10-9 winners in a very tight game. Former Razorback, Rhys Hutchinson pitched the Stealers to victory against his old team.

We would like to thank everyone from players, volunteers, supporters, sponsors & committee members for all their work throughout the 2018 season. We have gone from struggling to put 4 teams on the park 3 years ago to fielding 6 teams this season.
